Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

The Center for Cognitive and Brain Sciences is proud to once again co-sponsor the third annual Humanities and Cognitive Sciences High School Summer Institute. The Summer Institute is a week-long summer day camp for high school students to explore the correlations between brain sciences and the humanities. Students spend each day on OSU’s main campus, learning how new research in cognitive sciences can help us understand how we create and consume culture, and about how new research in the humanities can help us better understand thought, feeling, and action in our scientific world.  Our program partners with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and we place a great emphasis on ensuring a socioeconomically and culturally diverse class.

To learn more about our programming and the application process, please visit the Summer Institute website or email Stephanie Fowler at fowler.40@osu.edu for more information.
