The Center for Cognitive & Brain Sciences is pleased to announce a special professional development workshop on Faculty Career Paths at Small Liberal Arts Colleges (SLACs). In this informal one-hour session, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session on topics ranging from a) differences between major research universities and SLACs, b) applying for SLAC jobs, c) preparing for a SLAC career, d) mapping out a successful career at a SLAC institution, and more.
This event will be presented in hybrid format. Our speakers will join via zoom, and attendees are welcome to either congregate in person in PS 035 or join the zoom room. Light refreshments will be provided for in-person attendees. All members of the cognitive science and psychology community are welcome to attend.
