CCBS is hosting a special workshop for undergraduate students planning to apply for research lab positions before graduate school. If you know any students in this position, please encourage them to attend this helpful workshop. We’ll cover topics like:

  • Benefits of pre-graduate school research positions
  • Lab managers vs. research assistants
  • What to expect from lab manager positions
  • Applying to research positions: advice on job searching, applications, and interviews
  • The current landscape of research positions 

The workshop will be held in 217 Psychology Building on 4/1 from 1-3 PM. We’ll have a panel of grad students, lab managers, and research assistants there to answer questions and provide advice. Refreshments (light bites and beverages) will be provided. No registration is required, just come on in!
