Welcoming New Associate Director and Program Coordinator

Welcoming New Associate Director and Program Coordinator

Associate Director, Dr. Jennifer Lundine

Join us in welcoming Dr. Jennifer Lundine as the new CCBS Associate Director! Dr. Lundine is an Associate Professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at The Ohio State University and is the director of the Childhood Cognition, Communication, and Brain Injury Lab (CABI Lab). Her clinical, teaching, and research interests include impairments associated with complex pediatric medical diagnoses, especially cognitive-communication disorders associated with acquired brain injury (ABI). Specifically, her research focuses on improving gaps in access to and utilization of services designed to support children with ABI and identifying specific approaches that would improve assessment and treatment practices following pediatric ABI. As Associate Director, Dr. Lundine will primarily oversee our undergraduate minor, graduate interdisciplinary specialization, and she will work with our Director and staff on implementing other CCBS initiatives.

Project Coordinator, Dr. DeLiang Leon Wang

We are excited to announce that Dr. DeLiang Wang (Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering) has assumed a new position with the Center as a Project Coordinator.  Dr. Wang has long been one of the Center's greatest champions, since he joined the faculty at OSU in 1991 and serving a variety of roles, including a prominent role on our executive committee.  In this new role, Dr. Wang will leverage his expertise in securing external funding to help identify funding opportunities for our PIs, help assemble research teams to stimulate interdisciplinary project ideas, provide feedback on grant writing, and assist our seed grant recipients as they seek to leverage their pilot work to obtain external funding dollars.  Dr. Wang extends an open invitation to our community to meet with him and receive input and feedback on efforts to secure external funding.
