I am interested in the relationships between the conductor, the audience, and the performers in a concert setting. (This is particularly relevant to me, as I also study conducting!) I want to know what aspects of these relationships influence the concert-going experience for the audience, and how they could be manipulated or changed to help the audience feel more connected to a performance.
