Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Our team is interested in cognitive decline associated with cancer therapy, particularly in combination with aging. We are initiating studies focusing upon hormonal therapy in men with prostate cancer. In parallel, we examine the cognitive decline in patients with head and neck cancer, a group that is particularly prone to cognitive decline due to multimodality therapy. One or our goals is to define dietary, nutritional, and exercise strategies that reduce risk of age and cancer therapy related cognitive decline. Our team is particularly interested in specific dietary patterns and classes of bioactive phytochemical such as polyphenols and carotenoids.
