Cognitive impairment has a moderately studied relationship with metabolic health, but there is a surprising lack of quality research as to what effect. Further research is needed to elucidate what metabolic interventions could aid or inhibit brain performance in populations with cancer, sleep deprivation, obesity, and more. Performance measures include but not limited to cognitive function, behavior, mood, neuromuscular junction.
