Broadly, my works seeks to accomplish the following goals: 1) Examine the intersection between cognitive control and affective processes and how these processes impact motivation and reward in day-to-day life, 2) Uncover the neural representations of these processes, specifically through advanced neuroimaging methods such as fMRI and DTI, and 3) Elucidate biomarkers that can characterize individual differences in behavioral function that can be utilized to improve outcomes in functionally at-risk populations, such as adolescents.
