My previous research has utilized eye-tracking to help understand what is being attended to prior to a decision being made and has focused on various methods to improve the low prevalence effect, quitting thresholds, and investigated the impact that a visual search template’s feature information (color and form) has on one’s search performance and strategy. I’m interested in utilizing techniques such as eye-tracking, EEG, and fMRI to investigate visual attention and perception, especially how visual and spatial information allow us to make sense of our surroundings and guide us through decision-making and performance within our daily tasks.
