I am interested in human learning and memory, and I am particularly interested in how the mind and brain resolve the tension between encoding the specifics of a given experience (forming an episodic memory) and integrating that experience with previous knowledge (enabling statistical learning). I use a combination of behavioral, neuroimaging, and computational methods in my work.
